2. NS registrants may be considered for deferment from full-time NS to pursue private courses on a full-time basis at MOE-registered institutions, only if they are able to commence the course before the age of 18 years. The deferment is only considered for completion of the stage of studies (eg Certificate or Diploma) commenced before the age of 18 years old. No extension of deferment will be considered unless you can commence another stage of studies before 18 years old.

3. You would have exceeded 18 years old when you commence the Diploma in Business Management course at MDIS on 5 Oct 09. Hence, you are not eligible for deferment to pursue the course at MDIS.
